A new Notebook file contains a work area that can be filled with objects. In a way, it reminds the interface of a Microsoft page and it works as a Power Point application. A key feature of Notebook is the ability to add as many pages as you need to capture or display information.

Using the link to a video clip, study the Notebook Software Toolbar that gives you access to a number of tools to help you work with your Notebook file.

There are three Side tabs on the right-hand side of the Notebook interface: Page Sorter, Gallery, Attachments.

When first open check for updates by right-clicking on the Tool icon under the tool bar on the right-hand side of the notebook page next to "Type search terms here" space. From drop down menu select the update: Lesson Activity Toolkit, or Galery online resources, or Essentials for educators. You will download tons of information for all subject areas (images, lesson activities, video-audio files, templates, etc.). Make sure you have enough space on your computer.
